What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy uses the relaxation techniques of Hypnosis to access your subconscious mind which influences your actions and feelings (memories or automatic skills like breathing). This allows you to be more receptive to change allowing your therapist to support you to effect behavioural changes.
Some examples would be reframing negative thoughts and behaviours, help to relieve anxiety, aid with sleep, overcome limiting beliefs and many more.
This can be used on its own or in conjunction with other forms of therapy like Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) or Tapping and Life Coaching. This is a natural and non-invasive therapy, that can suit many peoples needs especially if traditional talking therapies have not worked for you.
Hypnotherapy is not recommended if you have certain mental health conditions such as schizophrenia, dissociative disorders, severe depression or psychosis. If you have a medical condition you are not sure about please check with your doctor beforehand.
If you really want to bring about change and can really see the benefits this will bring then Hypnotherapy may be for you.
